FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
"What is the purpose of this
site?"
It’s quite simply (and unashamedly) to plug
myself - a vehicle to keep friends and fans updated on what’s going on in my
life and career and further promote myself as both a paranormal investigator and
media presence.
"Don’t you already have a website in Ghost Hounds?"
Yes, however I don’t want discussions there to
revolve only around myself and the current program I’m appearing in – Haunting
Evidence. Ghost Hounds has always been about networking and discussions of
paranormal phenomena. Of course I’ll post there when something “big” is coming
up that will impact all of the “Hounds”, but I’d rather not change the dynamic
of the GH site – we’re among the most popular paranormal destinations on the web
because of the people that post there and the thoughtful, intelligent,
non-confrontational discussions – not because they come to talk about Patrick
Burns! :)
"Where do you reside?"
I've been living in the Atlanta Georgia area
since 1996, when I moved here to work on the stage team for the closing
ceremonies during the 1996 Olympics - one of my most treasured memories
"Where are you originally from?"
I hail from the Chicago suburbs originally. I
moved to Wisconsin when I was in my early 20’s, lived there for several years
and then moved to the Atlanta area in 1996.
"Are you married?"
I am! To a wonderful woman named Pamela, who has
the patience of a saint to put up with my crap! LOVE YOU HON!
"Do you have any kids?"
Only the two most wonderful little boys god ever
created! :)
"Can we see pics of your sons?"
Nope. Sorry. While I’d love to share them with
the rest of the world, in ode to their personal safety, you won’t see photos of
my children posted here.
"Can I contact you?"
Certainly! I love hearing from fans and friends! The best
way is thru my MySpace account at http://myspace.com/ghostgeek Next best way is
via standard email - ghostgeek@ghosthounds.com I try my best to respond to all
inquiries, but sometimes my travels and numerous projects prevent me from
responding in a timly manner. But I *DO* read all mail I recieve!
I can be contacted by phone IF and ONLY IF it is in regards to a media inquiry
(interview request, etc) – 678-524-7537 Please DO NOT call this number for other
purposes. Everyone’s cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated!
"Where did the nickname “Ghost Geek” come from?"
I have a strong IT / technical background. I’ve
always been into “hacking” electronics and playing with high tech toys like
lasers and robotics. A geek to the core!
The handle “Ghost Geek” was coined by my friend and mentor Cheri Mohr, who ran
the very first paranormal group I was a part of; the (now defunct) Georgia Haunt
Hunt Team. We had one investigation in the works way back in 1999 that we were
afraid might get rained out. Cheri had been watching Doppler radar all day and
commented in an email “Im a WX (weather) geek as well as a ghost geek!”
Considering my tech savvy, I saw where the name applied to me and took it as my
own! (Thanks Cheri!)
"I’d like to go on an investigation with you, or my group would like to have you
on one of our investigations."
Thanks – I’m flattered! :) I’m always eager to
work with other investigators and groups that are local, or semi-local to the
Atlanta area, and in other areas if I happen to travel to your neck of the
woods!
If you are local to the Atlanta
area, I invite you to join up with Ghost Hounds
- one of the largest paranormal research groups in the USA!
