FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
“What is the purpose of this website?”
It’s quite simply (and unashamedly) to plug myself – a vehicle to keep friends and fans updated on what’s going on in my life and career and further promote myself as both a paranormal investigator and media presence.
“Don’t you already have a website in Ghost Hounds?”
Yes, however I don’t want discussions there to revolve only around myself and “Haunting Evidence”. Ghost Hounds has always been about networking and discussions of paranormal phenomena. Of course I’ll post there when something big is coming up that will impact all of the Ghost Hounds, but I’d rather not change the dynamic of the GH site – we’re among the most popular paranormal destinations on the web because of the people that post there and the thoughtful, intelligent, non-confrontational discussions – not because they come to talk about Patrick Burns!
“Where do you reside?”
At the moment, I live in Boston, Massachusetts.
“Where are you originally from?”
I hail from the Chicago suburbs originally. I moved to Wisconsin when I was in my early 20’s, lived there for several years and then moved to the Atlanta area in 1996. I now reside in the Boston Ma area.
“Are you married?”
I am in a committed relationship with my girlfriend Marley Gibson. I am divorced from my wife of 12 years, Pamela.
“Do you have any kids?”
Only the two most wonderful little boys god ever created!
“Can we see pics of your sons?”
Nope. Sorry. While I’d love to share them with the rest of the world, in ode to their personal safety, you won’t see photos of my children posted here.
“Can I contact you?”
Certainly! I love hearing from fans and friends! The best way is thru my Facebook account at http://facebook.com/ghostgeek Next best way is via standard email – ghostgeek@ghosthounds.com I try my best to respond to all inquiries, but sometimes my travels and numerous projects prevent me from responding in a timly manner. But I *DO* read all mail I receive!
I can be contacted by phone IF and ONLY IF it is in regards to a media inquiry (interview request, etc) – 678-524-7537 Please DO NOT call this number for any other purposes. Everyone’s cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated!
“Where did the nickname “Ghost Geek” come from?”
I have a strong IT / technical background. I’ve always been into “hacking” electronics and playing with high tech toys like lasers and robotics. A geek to the core! The handle “Ghost Geek” was coined by my friend and mentor Cheri Mohr, who ran the very first paranormal group I was a part of; the (now defunct) Georgia Haunt Hunt Team. We had one investigation in the works way back in 1999 that we were afraid might get rained out. Cheri had been watching Doppler radar all day and commented in an email “I’m a WX (weather) geek as well as a ghost geek!” Considering my tech savvy, I saw where the name applied to me and took it as my own! (Thanks Cheri!)
“I’d like to go on an investigation with you, or my group would like to have you on one of our investigations.”
Thanks! I’m flattered!
I’m always eager to work with other investigators and groups if I happen to travel to your neck of the woods! I do travel extensively and if time permits, I love meeting up with other teams to learn from them. Check out my calendar to find out when I’m going to be in your area!
“How can you be booked for a lecture?”
For college and corporate lectures, I am represented by GP Entertainment… 315-859-1745 Toll Free @ 1-866-812-8248 rich@gpcollegeentertainment.com
“My group is planning a paranormal conference, and we’d love to have you attend and speak! What are your terms?”
Again, I’m flattered – thank you! My terms for paranormal conferences are a bit different than for corporate and college lectures, but quite reasonable. Please contact me via phone at 678-524-7537 or email for specifics.
“Boxers or briefs?”
The world may never know…
